An old goldmine awaits and it really smells like precious nuggets. The bank grants you a credit: 10 nuggets to buy some stuff: ladders, danymite, boots, backpack, diving-suit, what else?
Dig down and find some nuggets. Once found, you can't stop digging. Deeper and deeper you go, more and more nuggets make your heart smile. Don't forget to go back sometimes or you will be lost without ladders. Also the interest is getting higher and higher. The more nuggets found, the more the bank wants to participate. Decide: Buy a diving-suit or pay back your credit?
Down in the depths are the most precious nuggets. But also some dangerous explosions. Take the risk or go back and deposit your treasures? Do you want to leave them for the other players?
120 earth-game-pieces are mixed and put on the game-board. You have to explore the mine again in every new game. Nothing is like the game before. Rocks, water, gold, everything changes places. 2 - 4 players ages 8 and up climb down and run for the gold.
The game-board is double-sided! The front has the normal mine, the back features a more difficult setting for experts. The 168 game-pieces are made of beautiful wood. Put the stickers on them before the first game. You'll get a really great-looking and -feeling game made of natural parts for real Wild-West feeling! Goldgeier ist easy to understand and great for families - but with the right strategy you can be the winner. Try for yourself, you will surely like it!
Here are two variations for the game: 1. If you want to play a solo-game (i.e. one player only), simply pay 1 nuggets after each turn (i.e. after making your 4 or 5 steps) to the bank, either from your cash or from your safe. Now try to have as much gold as possible at the end. If you run out of gold, it's over. Second variation for experts: Spots which you don't step on, i.e. rocks, water if you don't have the diving-suit, pebbles if you don't use dynamite, will be put face-down again. You'll needa good memory for that! You can also use that rule for certain things only, i.e. only rocks or only water, depending on how difficult you want the game to be.

For 2-4 players ages 8 and up, playiing time appr. 30 - 45 minutes.
